Caramel Lava Cake Recipe

šŸ§¾Ingredients
ā€¢180grams caramel choc chips
ā€¢117 grams of unsalted butter, (soft and chopped)
ā€¢1/4 cup of flour
ā€¢1/2 cup icing sugar + ( 3 tablespoons for dusting)
ā€¢pinch of salt
ā€¢1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
ā€¢2 eggs
ā€¢2 egg yolks

ā²Method

Ā 1. Butter 3X 3inch pastry rings and line a baking tray with baking paper and pre heat oven to 230ā„ƒ
2. Melt butter and chocolate (either with double boiler or in the microwave)
3. Mix chocolate and butter and set aside
4. In another bowl, mix eggs, yolks, and vanilla essence.
5. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, icing sugar and salt.
6. Add flour mix to egg mix and stir until combined with a spatula
7. Add in chocolate and butter and mix all together until there are no lumps.
8. Either put the mixture into a piping bag or just pour it straight out of the bowl into the pastry rings.
9. Cook for 8 minutes.
10. Leave to sit in the pastry ring for 1minute, then, gently run a knife around the edge of the pastry ring to ensure the cake is not stuck anywhere.
11. Remove the pastry ring and dust with icing sugar.
12. Serve immediately, and enjoy ā˜ŗļø
